My dear Merle: Good things come to those who soldiered on when things looked bleak> I too passed my P.E.T. Scan last month with a nod to one tumor that must be addressed with radiation Dec. 28th. I look at a copy of Psalm 121 posted at the kitchen sink where my mind is a blank usually. It gives me energy to look up to the hills, not down in the dumps. I think we both are Protected and we each will live more years as family. Put your trust firmly where you will stop using energy on worry. That leaves time for planning the fun times ahead. Hello from old friends from Upstate NY. I am sorry to hear about the cancer – it hits home since my sister in Germany recently got diagnosed with breast cancer as well.

Let’s try to reconnect a bit – check out the website and leave an email that way (I don’t really want to publish my email address …). So many things since we last saw each other about 15 years ago …

In November, the beach is very much preferable to Budapest! Looks like a great trip!
