I’m Not Dead Yet (I.N.D.Y.)

I do not have cell service back where Dad is recupperating, so I wanted to jump on here to let everyone know that he seems to be doing well after his procedure (a lumbar puncture to drain some cerebrospinal fluid) — or at least as well as you would expect someone to be after having a huge needle stuck into their lower back.  He had a post procedure physical assessment and they technicians indicated that there seemed to be some improvement.  He has to remain horizontal until 3p.  Not sure what happens after then (presumably, they’ll send us home).

Thanks for your thoughts for my father.  I have to say, this has been something of an odd experience for me — I’m not used to being on THIS side of the hospital bed!
